“Well, we’re here everyone. Welcome to the Lost World of Arcanis. Here is where you all will be doing your training. And don't worry, you're all safe here,” Merlin said as everyone looked around at the amazing scenery Arcanis had to offer.
Arcanis is a sanctuary for wizards and sorcerers. There are no laws and no criminals here in Arcanis. The only thing this lost world has to offer is protection.
The group arrived on Arcanis. They were walking on a rainbow bridge that lead them to the mainland of Arcanis.
Birds were flying, ships were flying, and sorcerers and wizards were fighting. No, not that kind of fighting, training.
The Lost World of Arcanis was made up of three islands, also known as districts. The main island was the biggest of them all.
The island was beyond nothing compare to Hawaii. The waterfalls were never ending. There were too many to count. The water surrounding the islands were crystal clear turquoise and dark blue. There were wooden cottages and huts set up along the coast of the island. There were wooden canoes floating and roaming free around the island. There were wooden boardwalks that lead out into the water. The island itself was more green than ever. Ninety percent of the island was forrest.
“Isn't she a beauty? She's been my home since I was a young lad. I remember the first time I set foot on this mouth dropping world,” Merlin said as everyone walked off the bridge and down the floating glass staircase.
“I never thought I'd see this place ever again. Merlin, it's beautiful here,” Amy said as she looked at the surrounding mountains in the near distance and the raging waterfalls that made up the Arcanis River.
“Now, if you'd all follow me, I will be showing you to your quarters for the time being. As for tomorrow, we will begin training, except for you Val,” Merlin stated. “You'll be helping me train these newcomers,” Merlin added.
Valerie, who never smiles, suddenly smiled for the first time. Her hands began to freeze and her hair began to turn frosty. She immediately looked at Evan.
“Do we get to pick who we train? If so, I pick...hmm. EVAN!” Valerie said as she looked at Evan.
Evan was on his iPhone trying to get service. He kept turning around in circles holding his phone up to the sky, hoping he would get a signal. But of course, he didn't have any luck.
He then noticed that Val was looking at him. He slowly put his phone back in his rear pocket. Val started walking towards him. He slowly started taking steps backwards. He then tripped over a tiny rock and fell to the ground, lying on his back.
He then put his arms over his face as if Val was going to do something. But she didn't.
“Please don't freeze my penis,” Evan shouted as Val turned back to normal and lent a hand to him.
“Hey! I said that because I was messing around! I would never do something like that! Or would I?” Val joked again as she jerked her hand away from Evan.
Merlin stood there waiting for the two to be done messing around. Amy was by his side with her hands behind her back, looking directly at the two kids.
“Stop this nonsense immediately, both of you! We don't have time. Gorgon is coming and we need to be prepared when he does. Now stop flirting and follow us,” Amy said as she turned her back against the kids and started walking alongside Merlin.
“I couldn't have said that any better myself,” Merlin said as both him and Amy walked down the cobblestone pathway to the huts where the kids would be staying at.
